Sheridan Stage is THE comprehensive source for
Sheridan-area performing arts events!

At the Sheridan Civic Theatre Guild, our mission is to produce and promote community-based performing arts. We envisioned a web-based resource that would provide the community with an up-to-date, comprehensive listing of all things performing arts. Sheridan Stage provides a portal for local artists to post information about upcoming performing arts events, including theater, music, dance, comedy, and improv productions.

Sheridan Stage is managed by the Sheridan Civic Theatre Guild, but populated by YOU!

Suds n’ Spurs Brewfest @ Whitney Commons Park
Aug 26 @ 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm

The best brewers in the region convene under the Bighorns for the annual Suds n’ Spurs Brew Fest, a festival of fun, entertainment, beer sampling and food!
The Suds n’ Spurs Brew Fest is a major fundraiser for the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce. Funds raised will go toward furthering the missions of our committees and to programs and training opportunities for our business community.

On August 26 from 3:00pm -8:00pm, trade in your ticket for a wristband, your official Brewfest sampling glass, and your voting token. Then you’re on your way to UNLIMITED sampling – last year there were 20 breweries and even more expected this year! Make sure to participate in the 2017 People’s Choice Award, by dropping your token at your favorite brewer’s table.

You’ll have unlimited tastings from 18 different craft brewers, representing SIX different states, including Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Utah, South Dakota, and Alaska!
2016 Suds n’ Spurs breweries included: Alaskan Brewing Co., Altitude Chophouse & Brewery, Black Tooth Brewing Company, Canyon Creek Brewing, Carter’s Brewing, Clear Creek Brewing Co., Crow Peak Brewing Co., Gillette Brewing Company, Luminous Brewhouse, New Belgium Brewing Company, Odell Brewing Co., Red Lodge Ales Brewing Company, Roadhouse Brewing Co., Snake River Brewing, Snowy Mountain Brewery, Uberbrew, Uinta Brewing Co., Upslope Brewing Company, PLUS local distributors: Big Horn Beverage and Metz Beverage

All ticket holders will be asked to vote for THEIR FAVORITE BREWERY, as the People’s Choice Award of the event! Then stay ’til the end to see who takes home the coveted Balding Spur Award, a custom designed award by local artisan/craftsman Tom Balding of Tom Balding Bits and Spurs. There’s also a professionally judged competition in the Belgian Ale category, with the winner also receiving a custom designed Balding Spur.

Headlining this year’s event is boot-stomping country music artist Tris Munsick and the Innocents Band! The Sheridan County native has created an extensive fan base which spans multiple states in the upper Rocky Mountain region. Opening for Tris and returning to Sheridan by popular demand is Bozeman’s own The Wench Band!

Your opportunity to purchase delicious food from some of the best vendors around and to go along with that beer sampling! This year’s vendors include: Best of the West BBQ Fest, Pie in the Sky Brick Oven Pizza, and the 307 Bucking Grill.

Tickets are $30 and available at the Chamber office at 171 N. Main Street, Black Tooth Brewing Company at 312 Broadway, by calling 307-672-2485, or online [click here]. Tickets available at the main event tent at Whitney Commons Park the day of the event. Must be age 21 or older.

Also be sure to get your tickets for the Brewfest Raffle featuring four great prizes – a Grizzly 60-Quart Cooler donated by Rocky Mountain Discount Sports (valued at $350), a Kathmandu Motorcycle Jacket donated by Peak Powersports (valued at $350), a Nexgrill 4-Burner Grill donated by Home Depot (valued at $269), Wyoming Ruby Stud Earrings donated by Kraft’s Fine Jewelry (valued at $244), and a 307 Framed Print donated by Flood Marketing (valued at $130). Tickets are $10 each, or 5 for $40, with only 500 sold. The winning tickets will be drawn at the final 3rd Thursday Street Festival on September 15th. (Raffle tickets are also available at the Chamber office.)

No dogs (or pigs or goats) please. They don’t like beer anyway. But we do welcome your other (two-footed) family and friends who won’t be sampling the beers – your designated driver, those under age 21, and any other non-drinking guests – no admission charge.

Please smoke only in the designated areas.

The Sheridan Trolley will be providing complimentary shuttle service between the Holiday Inn and Whitney Commons Park, during the hours of the event. Additional public parking for the event is available in the north parking lot at the Holiday Inn. [shuttle schedule]

We want everyone to get home safely. If you’re feeling tipsy when you’re ready to leave, event organizers will provide options for safe rides home. Come to the Brewfest main event tent.

Brewfest is the Chamber’s major fundraising event of the year, with proceeds going toward the work of our committees and to other programs and training opportunities for the Sheridan County business community.
